Zelma Coffey

March 24, 1939 — August 28, 2014

Zelma Coffey, of Stearns, Kentucky departed this life at the Wayne County Hospital in Wayne County, Kentucky on August 28, 2014 being 75 years, 5 months and 4 days old.
She was born in Slaven’s, Kentucky the daughter of the late Virgil and Irene (Koger) Jones.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lower Wolf Creek Baptist Church since 1955. She loved her church and spending time with family and friends; she enjoyed cooking, and many crafts such as quilting, gardening and antiquing.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by; two Infant Sisters and one grandson Anthony Steward Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband; Woodrow Coffey, whom she married November 26, 1955 in Jellico, Tennessee. One Son; Bradley and Joy Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky Four Daughters; Vicky Coffey of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Tricia Coffey Steward of London, Kentucky, Gail and Mike Timperio of Corbin, Kentucky and Amelia And Joey King of Whitley City, Kentucky, three Brothers; Joe and Joyce Jones, of Whitley City, Kentucky,  Lonnie and Debbie Jones, of Stearns Kentucky, and Harold and Molly Jones, of Stearns, Kentucky, Two Sisters; Elizabeth and Ancil Bell of Stearns, Kentucky and Juanita and Cleadus Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky, Ten Grandchildren; Bradley Coffey Jr, Jennifer Coffey Martin, Ann Richmond, Christopher Troxell, Tia Steward, Vincent Timperio, Dominic Timperio, Stephanie Davis an Bo King, along with Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Ms. Zelma Coffey will be conducted Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 10 AM in  the McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl “Cubby” Clark and Bro Israel Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Corder Cemetery.
