Wilma (Toots) L Ridner

Wilma “Toots” L. Ridner, age 71, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, wife of Lee Ridner, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. 

Born in Sawyer, Kentucky, on August 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late James Curtis Campbell and Abbie (Rose) Campbell.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters; Etta Ridner, Ethel Allen and Shirley Ridner.

Surviving family include her husband of 55 years, Lee Ridner, her sons; Steve and wife Julie Ridner of Stearns, KY, Stacey Ridner and companion Misty Coffey of Parkers Lake, and Gary Ridner, also of Parkers Lake.  Daughters; Lisa and husband Hudy Goins of Parkers Lake, and Paula Sharon of Whitley City, KY, brothers; Curtis and wife Patricia Campbell and Bill and wife Judy Campbell both of Parkers Lake, KY, grand-children; Steven  (Sandra) Ridner, Travis (Patience) Sharon, Josh (Amy) Goins, Dustin (Katelynn) Goins, Erica Perry, Aaron Wilson, great grand-children; Caleb Brown, Annslee Ridner, Adeline Goins, Ralston Hurd and one on the way, Alyssa Goins.  

Toots was a homemaker and she enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, crocheting, canning, but above all she loved spending time with her family.  

Funeral services will be held at Mill Creek Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, she will lie in state from noon until service time at the church.  She will be laid to rest at the Mill Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
