WILLIS "DICK" HENRY PERRY

April 28, 1924 — June 16, 2012

Willis Henry “Dick” Perry, age 88 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died June 16, 2012 at his home.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle “Boone” Perry and Rev. Wade Heath officiating.  Burial was in the Eagle Creek Cemetery.

He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on April 28, 1924 the son of the late Stella Perry.  He had worked as a timber contractor and was a member of the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church and the CCC of Bell Farm, Kentucky.

His mother; wife, Alene (Ridner) Perry; son, William Perry; two infant brothers; sisters, Minnie Snell, Helen Perry, Eva Roy, Zada Repp, Ruby Lane, and Cora Faye Perkins; and 2 grandchildren, Daniel Strait and Angie Perry precede him in death.

Survivors include his children, James Leonard “Tank” Perry, Doyle “Boone” Perry, Ruben “Short” Perry, Lonzo “Dead Eye” Perry, Finley “Fin” Perry, Lester “Check” Perry, Vernon “Rossi” Perry, Harold Jones, Mary Ann Tucker, Zada Perry, and Rosa Stephens all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Dora Strait of Bloomville, Ohio, Wanda Davis of McCutchenville, Ohio, Amy Roth of Tiffin, Ohio, and Nenia Kay Tucker of Whitley City, Kentucky.  47 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren also aurvive.
