William W. Cantor, age 75 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died February 14, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday February 17, 2011 at 6pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Cyrus Byrd officiating. Burial was in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday February 18, 2011. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 4PM THURSDAY FEBRUARY 17, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on January 31, 1936 the son of the late David Cantor and Thursey Elizabeth (Pitman) Cantor Dixon. He was a Park Caretaker for the Indianapolis Power and Light Company, and a member of the Elwood Baptist Church in Bradenton, Florida and Markland Baptist Church in Vevey, Indiana. His parents, step father Bill Dixon, wife Alma Maxine (Sparks) Cantor, and brothers Johnny Cantor, Steve Dixon, Johnny Dixon, and Vola Dixon precede him in death. Survivors include son Robert Cantor (Joyce) of Martinsville, Indiana, daughters Becky Cantor of Somerset, Kentucky and Darlene Whipp (Fred) of Florence, Indiana, brothers Shelly Gene Dixon (Fern) of Indiana and David Lee Dixon (Lisa) of Colorado, sisters Etta Margaret Maxey (Kenny) of Revelo, Kentucky and Laura Juanita Dixon of Marshes Siding, Kentucky. One grandchild and two great grandchildren also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
