William D. (Bill) Hale, Sr., age 83 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died March 20, 2014 at his home. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 2pm in the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Spradlin and Rev. Roscoe Spradlin officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.
He was born in Jacksboro, Texas on December 2, 1930 the son of the late Joseph Franklin and Laura (Hart) Hale. He was retired from the US Navy, a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge #903, Laurel Heights #288 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Eagle Community Watch.
His parents; wife, Mary Ann (Shelton) Hale; and brothers, Alvin Hale and Freddie Hale precede him in death.
Survivors include his sons, William D. Hale, Jr. and wife, Michelle and George Allen Hale both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Trinnie Osment and husband, Lawrence âOzâ of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Teresa Hale of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister, Beulah Wooten of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Kyrie, David, Chris, Kaitlin, Carissa, Shane, Jacob, and Jessica; and great grandchildren, Kamryn, Maddison, and Lincoln.
