WAYNE ALAN LYONS

Wayne Allen Lyons, age 57 years, Whitley City, Kentucky died January 21, 2010. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 24,2010 at Hill Top Baptist Church with Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in Neely Creek Cemetery in Pulaski County. He was born at Whitley City, Kentucky on May 20, 1952 the son of Thelma Bolin Lyons and the late James Lyons. He was a coal miner and member of Hill Top Baptist Church. His father and his brother, Danny Lyons and a grandchild precede him in death. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Duncan Lyons and his mother, Thelma Lyons. The surviving children are, Jamie Lyons; Jeff Lyons, Whitley City, Kentucky and Sherry Hughett, Williamsburg, Kentucky. The surviving brothers and sister are, Jim Lyons; Cotton Lyons; Debbie Gibson, Whitley City and Kenny Ray Lyons, Marshes Siding, Kentucky. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.
