VIRGINIA "GIN" BRYANT SEXTON

Virginia “Gin” Bryant Sexton, age 73 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died July 13, 2013 at her home.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Redemption Way Church at 6:30pm with Rev. James (Jimmy) Burden and Rev. Orvel Hisel officiating.  Burial was in the Angel Cemetery

She was born in Strunk, Kentucky on July 18, 1939 the daughter of the late Howard Raymond and Tellina (Davis) Spradlin. She was a homemaker and member of the Redemption Way Church, seamstress, carpenter, and Prayer Warrior.

Her parents; and husband, Edward Bryant precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Arlin Wilburn Sexton of Stearns, Kentucky; son, Jeff Bryant and wife, Jane of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Lena Phelps and husband, Edwin of Bardstown, Kentucky, Debbie Taylor and husband, Anthony of Strunk, Kentucky, Kimberley Sue Vanover and husband, Blaine of Somerset, Kentucky, and Krista Lanay Murphy and husband, Jack of Winfield, Tennessee; brothers, Hural Spradlin and wife, Julie of Strunk, Kentucky and Robert Spradlin of Holly Hill, Kentucky; sisters, Sue Stephens and husband, Darrell of Columbus, Indiana, Louise Duncan of Revelo, Kentucky, and Anna Bryant and husband, Randy of Whitley City, Kentucky.  18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way also survive.
