Vinson W. Tucker

Vinson W. Tucker, age 79 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died July 11, 2017 unexpectedly in Whitley City, Kentucky.

He was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on May 1, 1938 the son of Grover C. and Easter Zella (New) Tucker. Vinson was a retired valve worker and a member of the Wolf Ridge United Baptist Church.

His parents; wife, Joyce A. (Tapley) Tucker; and sister, Wanda Moore precede him in death.

Survivors include his son Warren Dwayne Tucker and fiancé, Sandy Perry of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Lisa Ann Jackson and husband, Todd of Yorktown, Indiana; sister, Geraldine Turner of Florence, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kala Jackson and Ronald Eugene Rankin, Jr.(Rowdy); and great grandchildren, Xander Rankin and Mason Rankin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 15, 2017 at 1pm at the Wolf Ridge United Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the Sammy New Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Saturday at the Church.
