Vanessa Regina Mason

Vanessa Regina Mason, age 56 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Baptist Health Corbin.

She was born January 2, 1967 the daughter of the late David Wilburn Mason and Nona Laverne (Pryor) Wallen.

Her parents; a brother, Leroy Wallen; niece, Amy La’Dawn Henson; and nephew, Leroy Wallen, Jr. precede her in death.

Survivors include her brothers, David Gordon Mason and James Wesley Mason (Angela) both of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sister, Anita Fay Henson of Lost Creek, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, James Henson, Heather Robertson (John), Mikel Wallen, Kenneth Wallen, Natasha Worley, CJ Mason (Joyce), James Anthony Allen Mason, Wesley David Mason, Mary Elizabeth Mason, Tyler Mason, and Katie Marie Sumner; step father, JL Vanover of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sister-n-law, Ginger Wallen of Pine Knot, Kentucky; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her dog, Peanut.

Funeral services will be 4pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 3pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
