Thressa Louise Davidson

Thressa Louise Davidson departed from this life on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home in Whitley City, Kentucky. She was born on July 5, 1938 in Whitley City, Kentucky, to the late Willie and Betsy (Bryant) Vanover.

Thressa is preceded in death by her son: Bradley Perry, and sisters: Verna Bragesser, and Vela Child.

Surviving family includes: sons: Ledford Perry of Whitley City, KY and James Hawn and wife Angie of Pine Knot, KY, daughters: Brenda Angel and husband Archie or Parkers Lake, KY, Debbie Mitchell and husband David of Whitley City, KY, brother: Sonny Vanover of Whitley City, KY, sisters: Beatrice Claxton of Detroit, MI, Hazel Poole and husband Kendal of Science Hill, KY, and Betty Smith of California. 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Thressa was a member of the Beulah Heights Church of God. She loved fishing and camping and was an enthusiastic lover of outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral Services: Monday, September 19, 2016 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Perry Officiating.

Visitation: Monday, September 19, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Privett Cemetery
