THELMA BARNETT RENFRO

Thelma Barnett Renfro, age 69 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died January 12, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Sunday January 16, 2011 at 11am in the Eagle Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roscoe Spradlin and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial was in the Marler Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM SATURDAY JANUARY 15, 2011 AT THE MCCREARY COUNTY FUNERAL HOME. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on November 20, 1941 the daughter of the late Lanceo and Helen (Ball) Taylor. She was a retired CNA and a member of the Eagle Creek Baptist Church. Her parents, husbands George V. Renfro and William H. Barnett, brother Buddy Joe Taylor, and sister Jada Taylor precede her in death. Survivors include sons George Renfro and wife Brenda, Thomas Renfro and wife Beverly and Clay Barnett and wife Lori all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, daughters Joyce Barnett and husband Clayton, Georgia Keith and husband Robert, Reda Bennett and husband Ronald all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Susie Crabtree and husband Chad of Whitley City, Kentucky, Cathy Bayer and husband Milton, Susan Collins, Sharon Renfro all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carol Knowles of Somerset, Kentucky, and Cathy Mosley and Ronald Hamilton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, brothers Justin Taylor and wife Ruth of Lima, Ohio, Willie Jack Taylor and David Taylor both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and sisters Janie Godby and husband Gordon of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, June Mackey and husband William of Corbin, Kentucky, Evelyn Mutters and husband Pete of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Juanita Freeman and husband Deward of Whitley City, Kentucky. 32 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a special sister-in-law Pearlina Taylor also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
