Terry Gayle Jones Hopper

Terry Gayle Jones Hopper, age 60 years, of Sawyer, Kentucky died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born in Lena Davis’s home in Whitley City, Kentucky on April 12, 1962 the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Hicks) and Earl Ridner. She was one of fourteen children. Terry enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and working in her flower beds and garden.

Her parents precede her in death.

Terry leaves behind her life partner of 45 years Larry Hopper and four children; sons, Jimmy Jack Jones (Chrissy), Daryl “Jig” Jones, and Johny Hopper; daughter, Crystal “Pooh” Jones Hopper (Finley “Squirrel”). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many family and friends.

As per her wishes, her life partner and children will lay her to rest in the family cemetery at her home. Terry will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 3pm in the Hopper/Jones Family cemetery with Bro. Tyler Longsworth officiating.
