Tenna L. Canada, age 64 years, of Bronston, Kentucky died Thursday, July 15, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 1, 1957 the daughter of Bernard and Lena (Hill) Haynes. She was a saleswoman for Avon and had been a dog breeder for 14 years, was a member of the Sandhill United Baptist Church, and enjoyed the swimming pool, going to the beach, traveling, flower gardening, and her grandchildren.
Her parents and brothers, Stanley Haynes and Otis Haynes precede her in death.
Survivors include her son, Barry Canada of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Rhonda Whittaker of Hustonville, Kentucky and Sheila Stephens (Rocky) of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Jerry Haynes and Billy Haynes both of Greenwood, Kentucky; sisters, Magedelna Ballou of Burnside, Kentucky, Marie Gregory of Monticello, Kentucky, Louise New of Vanover Ridge, Kentucky, Catherine Sullivan of Somerset, Kentucky, and Lois Beatty of Eubank, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Rachel, Dylan, Wesley, Skyler, Courtney, Emily, and Kameran.
Funeral services will be held 7pm Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Perry officiating. The family will receive friends after 4pm Saturday at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2pm Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Sloan’s Valley Cemetery. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15pm.
