Sylvia Hinkle, age 77 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died December 9, 2010 at McCreary Heath Care, Pine Knot, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 12, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Sim Thacker officiating. Burial was in Higginbotham Cemetery. VISITATION AFTER 6:00PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2010. She was born December 19, 1932 at McCreary County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Claymon and Allie Bryant Perry. She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Oscar Hinkle and her children, Wayne Hinkle and wife, Crystal, Stearns, Kentucky and Lynn Hinkle, Whitley City, Kentucky. She is survived by her twin brother, Foist Perry and wife, Betty, Whitley City, Kentucky and sisters, Clara Smith, Whitley City, Kentucky and Helen Slaven and husband, Bill, Marshes Siding, Kentucky. The surviving grandchildren are Rachel Hinkle, Courtney Kidd, Cody Koger and Aaron Hinkle. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
