SILLUS EDWARD LOVELL

Sillus Edward (Ed) Lovell, age 69 years, died June 8, 2011 at his home in Whitley City, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 11, 2011 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. James Mills and Bro. Paul Riggs officiating. Burial was in the Blue John Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 12 NOON SATURDAY JUNE 11, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on March 25, 1942 the son of the late David Levi and Lona(Marlowe) Lovell. He was a bus driver for Bethesda Scarlet Oaks Nursing Home and a member of the Fowler Creek Freewill Baptist Church. His parents, brothers Parker Lovell and Harmon Lovell, sister Molly Foster and 1 infant sister precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Geraldine (Engle) Lovell, son Aaron Lovell, daughters Felecia Thompson all of Whitley City, Kentucky and Kimberly Thacker of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, and sisters Della North of Hyden, Kentucky and Fannie Ratliff of Batavia, Ohio. 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Lovell Family Benefit. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
