Shirley Ann (Perry) Petrey

Shirley Ann (Perry) Petrey, age 52 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Friday, October 8, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 13, 1969 the daughter of Fred and Joyce (Foster) Perry. Shirley had retired as a teacher from Southern Elementary School. She enjoyed shopping; but her passion was children, especially her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Her parents precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Petrey of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sons, Jarred Perry (Shelby), Jonathon Perry, and Markus Petrey (Chelsea) all of Parkers Lake; brother, Randall Perry (Janice) of Parkers Lake; and grandchildren, Izabella Perry, Naman Perry, Adam Petrey, Scarlett Petery, Ryan Petrey, and Paisley Petrey.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow in the Higginbotham Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Funeral Home.
