Robert Scottie Morris, age 70, Whitley City, Kentucky died Friday at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on September 26, 1942 the son of the late Robert C. and Lois Ann Ballou Morris.
He was a Butcher and worked as a Deputy Sheriff,Circuit Court Baliff,and a Security Officer,. He was a member of Whitley City Methodist Church. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his companion Marilyn King, Pine Knot, Kentucky; His daughters Tammy and husband Jeff Rollyson, Nancy, Kentucky and Vicki Keith of Knoxville, Tennessee. His sister Donna King of Whitley City, Kentucky also survives. Mahala, Kiara, Jerilyn, Haley, and Brody are the surviving grandchildren.
