Samuel “GLENN” Stephens departed from this life on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN, being 43 years, 8 months, and 28 days old. He was born in Somerset, KY, on February 16, 1974, to Jackie Stephens and the late Virginia “Jenny” (Richmond) Stephens.
Glenn graduated college with a bachelor’s degree and was a factory worker. He loved riding his motorcycle, 4-wheeler, driving his Jeep, and tinkering with vehicles. Glenn had a personality that you will never forget, and he loved to make you laugh.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Virginia “Jenny” (Richmond) Stephens, and two grandchildren.
Surviving family includes his father: Jackie Stephens of Stearns, KY, sons: Brian (Tiffany) Stephens of Pine Knot, KY, Dylan Lyons-Stephens of Whitley City, KY, sisters: Stacey New, Amber Chitwood, Brandi Douglas, all of Somerset, KY, Mary Wilson of Pine Knot, KY, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services: Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Stephens officiating.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
Burial: Crabtree Cemetery.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
