Ruth Hines

Ruth Hines, age 72 years, of Monticello, Kentucky, wife of Gale Hines, died Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on January 30, 1949 the daughter of Dallas and Florence (Piece) Russell.  Ruth had worked as a teacher's aide for the McCreary County School System and was a member at the Mt. Assembly Church of God in Sudney, Ohio.

Her parents; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters precede her in death.

Suvivors include her husband, Gale Hines; son Joshua Aaron Hines of Corners, Alabama; and daughter, Melissa Ann Hines Millwood of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Louis Russell and Gary Russell; grandchildren, Annabelle Hines Millwood, Nathaniel Hines Millwood, and Ava Marie Hines.  

Graveside services will be held 2pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Sammy New Cemetery with Bro. Randall Meadows officiating.
