RUBY JEWELL WATERS

Ruby Jewell Waters age 73 of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, the widow of Homer Waters, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Rufus Hughes and Bro. Clifford Crabtree officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born on February 3, 1938 in Co-op, Kentucky to Earl Phillips and Della Young Phillips. Ruby was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Her mother, father, husband, Homer Waters, and sisters, Leona Morris, Virginia Madden, and Beulah Phillips precede her in death.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Kathy Keith and her husband, George, of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Buckie Phillips and his wife, Linda, of Muncie, Indiana, and Leonard Phillips and his wife, Dorothy of Stearns, Kentucky; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
