Roxie Mae Mitchell

Roxie Mae Mitchell, age 67, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died August 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on May 12, 1950 the daughter of Estle and Nola (Hicks) Ridner. Roxie was a homemaker and member of the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening and canning.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lealon Mitchell and Edward Swain; brothers, Ben Ridner ,Norman Ridner, Finley Ridner, Denny Ridner;and sister, Flossie Swain.

Survivors include her sons; Ray Mitchell and wife, Teresa, Edward Junior Swain and wife, Brenda both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Jo Mitchell (Glenn) , Lavonda Perry and husband, Daniel both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; brothers, Leester Ridner, Mike Ridner, all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Wilma Bennett and Mossie Goins both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kanesha Barnett, Rayvn Perry, Tambra Mitchell, Ambra Renfro, Brittany Perry, Josh Ridener, Cody Warman, Ceece Warman, Jelissa Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, Byron Swain, Cole Swain, and J.B. Perry; and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1pm in the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with Bro. Dillard Bryant and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial to follow in the Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday, August 10. 2017 at the church.
