Rose Ellen Stanton, age 74 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died January 16, 2014 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on April 13, 1939 the daughter of the late Howell and Lola (Solomon) Stanton. She had worked in packaging, was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church, and loved Bingo and Auction.
Her parents; brothers, Edgar Stanton and Roy Stanton precede her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Ralph Stanton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Les Stanton of Somerset, Kentucky; special nephew John Stanton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
