RONNIE GARY STRUNK

Ronnie Gary Strunk, age 59, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. Kentucky.

 He was born at Marshes Siding, Kentucky, on November 16, 1955, to the late Caleb and Sadie (Perry) Strunk.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Clayton Strunk, nephews Scotty Keith, and Randy Strunk.

Surviving family include three brothers: Wendell Strunk (and wife Phyllis) of West Chester, Ohio, Darrell Strunk (and wife Mary Lou) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Donald Strunk (and wife Myrtle) also of Whitley City, three sisters: Fontella Vanover (and husband Johnny) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Phyllis Price (and husband Benny) of West Chester, Ohio, and Brenda Whisman (and husband Gary) of Cincinnati, Ohio.  His longtime companion is Kaye Tucker Wilson and five children that were like his grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jacob, Johnathan, Aaron and Emily.  His nieces and nephews are Greg, Wendell, Dereck, Misty, Doug, Dennis, Amanda, Marcus, Matthew, Kaitlin, Lori, Scotty, Beverly.

Ronnie was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed helping people, spending time with family and working in the garden.  He enjoyed life to the fullest and making people laugh.

Funeral services: Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home.

Visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
