Ronnie Edward Garland, age 49 years, of Monticello, Kentucky died March 5, 2012 at the Wayne County Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Ridner and Rev. Joe Warman officaiting. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 21, 1963 the son of James and Barbara (Schmidt) Garland. He was an asbestos removal worker.
Survivors include his son, Brian Garland of Monticello, Kentucky, parents, James and Barbara Garland of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brothers, Roy Garland and wife Dawn, Rick Garland, and Randy Garland all of Whitley City, Kentucky and Robert Garland of Pine Knot, Kentucky and sister, Debbie Montgomery and husband Rodney of Whitley City, Kentucky. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
