Ronald "Ronnie" Edward Ross

Ronald “Ronnie” Edward Ross, age 80 years, of the Worley Hilltop Community died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Worley, Kentucky on August 13, 1943 the son of Earl and Dovie (Boyatt) Ross. Ronnie had worked for the US Forest Service as a Forestyr Tech and was a member of the Lower Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Going to the Cabin, hunting, fishing, and hanging at Big M and the Stearns Post Office were his favorite past times.

His parents and brother, Noble Ross precede him in death.

Survivors include his son, Michael Ross (Sharon) of Oneida, Tennessee; brothers, Charles Ross of Oneida, Tennessee, Coy Ross (Caroline) of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Gary Ross (Doris) of Batavia, Ohio, and Michael Ross (Thelma) of Stearns, Kentucky; and sisters, Jean Holt of Batavia, Ohio, Glennis Wood (Barry) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Debbie Ross of Lexington, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Kidd officiating. Burial to follow in the Kidd Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Saturday.
