Roland Edward Manning, age 90 years, of Erlanger, Kentucky died September 30, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky.
He was born in Barren Fork, Kentucky on March 14, 1929 the son of Homer and Laura Elsie (Neal) Manning. Roland had worked in the factory and was a band saw operator. He had served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
His parents; wife, Serena Miranda (DeBusk) Manning; brothers, John Paul Manning, James Manning, William Manning, and Robert Dennis Kennedy; sisters, Helen West, Louise Manning and Glenna Sue Errico precede him in death.
Survivors include his son Carlis Edward Manning of Erlanger; daughter, Rhonda True (Steve) of Burlington; brother, Homer Manning, Jr.; grandchildren, Kellie Manning and Carley Manning; and great grandchildren, Kyle Wade, Ava Buemi, and Zara Graybow.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October, 5, 2019 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Corder officiating. Burial to follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Saturday at the funeral home.
