ROBERT DENVER YANCEY

Robert Denver Yancey, age 70 years, died July 9, 2010 at his home in Whitley City, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday July 12, 2010 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Phillips and Rev. James Neal officiating. Burial was in the Yancey Cemetery. The family will recieve friends after 11am Monday July 12, 2010 at the funeral home. He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on January 28, 1940 the son of the late George Silas OPatO Yancey and Gladys Lewallen. He had been a Ford Motor Company employee and a member of the Day Ridge Church of God. His parents and stepmother Juaneva Craiger Yancey precede him in death. Survivors include cousins Reed and Geraldine Yancey of Whitley City, Kentucky aunts Novella Yancey of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Printey Yancey of Revelo, Kentucky, and many cousins and friends.
