ROBERT LEE STEPHENS

Robert Lee Stephens, age 65 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died June 4, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 8pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Staley officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery Monday, June 7, 2011 at 8am. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM MONDAY JUNE 6, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on December 21, 1945 the son of the late Roscoe and Esther (Ballew) Stephens. He had worked as Quality Control and a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church. His parents and brother Jim Stephens precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Sue (Sumner) Stephens, sons Rocky and wife Sheila, and Dustin Stephens and wife Heather all of Whitley City, Kentucky, brothers Gary Stephens and wife Jean of Somerset, Kentucky and Merrell Stephens of Whitley City, Kentucky, and sisters Jean Childers and Ruth Ann Worley and wife Jim both of Whitley City, Kentucky. Grandchildren Dylan Stephens, Rachel Stephens, and Makayla Stephens also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
