Robert Dale Rollins, formerly of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home in Riverview, Florida on the morning of Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the age of 69.
He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on January 25, 1955. The son of Robert and Lucy (Vanover) Rollins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, William Rollins, James Rollins, Mintford Rollins, Darrell Rollins and Amos Rollins; and sisters, Dorine Ohler, Mary Zeller and Norma Rose.
Dale will be deeply missed by his surviving and devoted wife of 49 years, Julie (Broughton) Rollins; his son, Chris (Shana) Rollins; his brothers, Harold (Shirley) Rollins of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Roger (Ruth) Rollins of Fremont, Ohio; his sister, Wanda (Pete) Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Tristan Rollins, Jackson Rollins and Taylor Rollins; among his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Dale retired as a truck driver with over 40 years on the road and he had a passion for trading guns and knives. He loved singing and playing music, but his greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family. Dale was also a dedicated member and song leader at Christian Home, in Florida. He and Julie always considered Living Word Missionary Baptist Church in Liberty Twp, OH to be their home church.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm on Friday, September 6th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. A funeral service will begin at 11 am on Saturday, September 7th at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.MRFH.com
