Robert A. Helton, Jr.

Robert A. Helton, Jr., age 60 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 6, 1964 the son of the late Robert A. “Bob” Helton, Sr. and Eva Faye (Meadors) Helton. Robert had been a truck driver and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Lawrence Helton; and sister, Janice Helton Watters.

Survivors include his son, Aaron Helton (Valerie) of Strunk, Kentucky; brother, Glennis Dean Helton (Tammy) of Whitley City, Kentucky; Audrey Joyce Helton Ridner of Montana; grandchildren, Kason Helton, Clara Helton, Kiara Helton, Kozu Helton; nieces and nephews, Andy Helton, Leandra Helton, Jessica Perry, Katelynn Goins, Kaidance Helton, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen cremation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
