Rick Coffey, age 63 years, of Revelo, Kentucky died July 24, 2013 at his home. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Terry West and Rev. Alan Coffey officiating. Burial was in the Barren Fork Cemetery.
He was born in Beulah Heights, Kentucky on March 2, 1950 the son of the late Fordie and Betty Jo (Nelson) Coffey. He was an employee of Lumber King, of the Baptist Faith, loved hunting, fishing, and was a family man.
His parents; brother, Jerry Coffey; sister, Connie Phillips; and 1 great grandchild precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa (Flynn) Coffey of Revelo, Kentucky; sons, Albert âDagâ Terry and wife, Mary of Whitley City, Kentucky and Rick âChicoâ Coffey and wife, Barbara of Jamestown, Tennessee; daughters, Patty Miller of Oliver Springs, Kentucky, Sharon Kidd and husband, Jeffery of Strunk, Kentucky, Vaunita âNetter" Vaughn and husband, Bill of Stearns, Kentucky, and Darla Sullivan and husband, David of Monticello, Kentucky; brothers, Brassfield Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky and George Coffey and wife, Charlotte of Casey County, Kentucky; and sisters, Alice Bell and husband, Gordon of Grandlick, Kentucky and Donna Coffey and husband, Lowell of Stearns, Kentucky. 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and his dogs, Spanky and Lucy also survive.
