Rhoda Sue Perry, age 63 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died November 21, 2013 in Lexington, Kentucky at the UK Chandler Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 11am at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Patrick and Bro. Dillard Bryant officiating. Burial was in the Eagle Creek Cemetery.
She was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on December 11, 1949 the daughter of the late Andy Denton and Cora (Ridner) Goodin. She was a course setter at the Hayes Albien Corporation, a manager for K-Mart, a member of Eagle Community Center Women’s Group, and a member of the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church.
Her parents; brothers, Andy Denton Goodin, Jr., Kenneth Goodin, James Bo Goodin, Thomas Goodin, Artman Goodin, Paul Goodin, Roman Goodin, and twin brothers; Arlo Goodwin and Roscoe Goodwin; and one sister, Truie Patrick precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Perry, son, Dewayne Perry and wife Nancy of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, daughter, Jennifer Adkins and husband, Scott of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, five grandchildren Tyler, Timothy, Nathan, Kevin, and Shelby numerous nieces and nephews and special friends she considered family.
