Reed Tucker

Reed Tucker, age 76, of Tullahoma, TN., widower of Myra Tucker, passed away early Monday morning, February 3, 2025, at Vanderbilt Harton Tullahoma Hospital. Reed was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on June 21, 1948, and was the son of the late Mose Walter and Lillie Hines Tucker. He retired from the US Air Force after proudly serving his Country for many years. Reed really enjoyed music, singing, and woodworking. He was a member of Harley Owners Group, American Legion, VFW, and AM Vets.

 In addition to his parents and wife, Reed was preceded in death by his brothers; Junior Lee Tucker, Glen Ed Tucker, Ralph Gene Tucker and sisters; Leatrice Joyce "Toots" Clark and Mary Frances Baird. 

Survivors include his daughter; Dhonn Carmichael and husband Billy, of Macon, GA., his brother; James Estle Tucker of Batavia, OH and sister, Virginia Sue Canada of Strunk, KY., grandchildren; Abby Carmichael, Zoe Pearl Barrett and Rayne Barrett. 

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am until time for services with Bro. Nate Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the McCreary Memorial Gardens.
