Ray Roger Bryant

Ray Roger Bryant, age 72 years, of the Hen’s Nest Community died Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky the son of Lander and Katherine (Murphy) Bryant. Roger had worked as a Dozer Operator for Kingsford Charcoal and attended the Indian Creek United Baptist Church. He was an avid collector and loved to mow.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Everett Bryant; and sisters, Relda Perkins and Georgia Bryant.

Survivors include his brothers, Arnold Bryant, Lonnie Bryant, Wayne Bryant all of Monticello, Kentucky, and Howard Bryant of Jamestown, Tennessee; sisters, Lena Bryant of Whitley City, Kentucky and Laura Vaughn of Monticello, Kentucky; fur baby, PeeWee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Burial to follow in the Bryant Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, June 24, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
