Purlina Jane Goins

Purlina Jane Goins, age 79 years, of Parker Lake, Kentucky died December 29, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on August 12, 1940 the daughter of Henry and Ethel Caldwell. Purlina was a homemaker, of the Pentecostal Faith, and loved working around her home.

Her parents; husband, Marvin Goins; son, Donald Goins; and brothers, Clifford Caldwell, Andrew Caldwell, and JH Caldwell precede her in death.

Survivors include her sons, David Goins (Doris), Harold Goins (Lisa), and Dewayne Goins all of Parkers Lake; daughters, Wilma Ridner and Wanda Goins both of Parkers Lake; brothers, George Caldwell of London, Earl Caldwell and Phillip Caldwell both of Ohio; sisters, Elsie Cepak, Debbie Iman (Donnie), Berniece Creech, and Essie Barrens (Marvin) all of London; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2pm in the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the Church.
