Phillip Ralph Taylor, age 62 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died March 23, 2013 in Lexington, Kentucky at the VA Hospital. Private services were held by the family. Burial was in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
He was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on August 5, 1950 the son of Virginia (Morgan) Taylor and the late Woodrow Taylor. He was a truck driver and had worked for the McCreary County Road Department, member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church, and loved playing music.
His father precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila (Glass) Taylor of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; mother, Virginia Taylor of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Kasey Krystal Wulfeck of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky and Lindsey Carol Volz of Burlington, Kentucky; brothers, Darrell Taylor of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Owen Taylor of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; sisters, Sue Singelton of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Virginia Cecil of Winfield, Tennessee, and Karen Brooks of Lexington, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Jake and Emily also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
