PATSY E. WINCHESTER

Patsy E. Winchester, age 81, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee

She was born in McCreary County on October 10, 1935, to the late Everett and Maude (Lawson) Thompson.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands Charles King and Jack Winchester, two sisters: Flora Opal Morgan and Imogene Thompson, and three brothers: James Ralph Thompson, Dairl McKinley Thompson, and Rondal Thompson.

Surviving family include a son: Glen King of Strunk, a grandson: Jonathan King also of Strunk, and two brothers: Willie E. Thompson, Sr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bobby Gene Thompson of Stearns, a very special cousin: Barbara Coffman, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Winchester was a homemaker and member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Peters and Bro. Ervin Foster officiating. 

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Burial will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at the Lower Cal Hill Cemetery.
