Pat Souleyrette

Pat Souleyrette, age 73 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 30, 1950 the son of Lloyd E. and Wilma K. (Upchurch) Souleyrette. Pat had been a truck driver and a member of the Walker’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Greenwood Masonic Lodge 903, and served his country in the US Army. Fishing, riding motorcycle, boating, and watching westerns was his favorite hobbies.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a great grandchild, Georgiana Vaughn.

Survivors include his companion, Sue Goodin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; son, Louis Todd Souleyrette (Penny) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughters, Lisa Morris (Gene) of Hilltop, West Virginia and Kristie Vaughn (Kenneth) of Strunk, Kentucky; sisters, Brenda Jenkins of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sharon Edmon of Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren, Krista Meadors, Kalie Meadors, Branden Vaughn, Ashlyn Christian, Daijah Souleyrette, and Jesse Anderson, great grandchildren, Maverick Gaskins, Miley Meadors, Ila Vaughn, and Alahna Woods; and step family, Lomas Clark, Dalton, Clark, Crystal Clark, Darcy Clark, Susan Eldridge, Adam Howard, Rachel Howard, and Emily Howard.

Masonic and Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Ridener officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
