Pastor Dennis Lee Bryant

Pastor Dennis Lee Bryant, age 65 years, of Williamsburg, Kentucky died Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Baptist Health Corbin, Kentucky.

He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on April 30, 1958 the son of the late Claude Elwood and Pearl Bell (Durham) Bryant.  Dennis was Pastor of the Pleasant Run Church and had retired after 29 years of working for the McCreary County Road Department and State Department of Highways as a heavy equipment operator, and enjoyed farming.

His parents; a daughter, Leslie Ann Bryant; and brothers, Claude Sargent Bryant, James Edward Bryant, and William Hobert Bryant precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sharlet (Kidd) Bryant of Williamsburg, Kentucky; a son, Dennis Daniel Bryant and wife, Loretta of Williamsburg, Kentucky; brothers, Michael Ray Bryant and wife, Alice of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Lawrence Bryant and wife, Shirley of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sister, Brenda Bryant Meadows of Loveland, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Connie Bryant and Brenda Bryant of Williamsburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Daniel Lee Bryant and Andy Baird (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Declan and Faelyn; and a host of nieces and nephews who mourn his loss.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Pleasant Run Church with Bro. Harvey Logan, Bro. William Kilby and Bro. Gary Lovitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Friday, March 29, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. He will lie in state at the Church Saturday from 10am unitl service time.
