Nora Lucille Coleman

Nora Lucille Coleman, age 68 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on April 13, 1955 the daughter of the late Marvin and Angeline (Hicks) Hurd.  Nora had worked as a meat packer and was a member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church. Playing Bingo, fishing, and gathering with friends were her favorite things to do.

Her parents and brothers, Sam Hurd, Paul Hurd, and Charlie Hurd precede her in death.

Survivors include her son, Marvin Coleman (Deirdre); daughter, Angie Coleman; sister, Maggie Bryant of Stearns, Kentucky and Mable Goodin (John) of Whitely City, Kentucky; and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Coleman, Zachary Coleman, and Alyssa Coleman.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial to follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
