Naydean Vanover, passed from this life on Monday, February 2 , 2015, at her home in Sawyer, Kentucky. She was 61 years, 2 months and 14 days old.
Naydean was born on November 19, 1953, in Sawyer, Kentucky, to the late Lincoln and Flora (Spradlin) Campbell. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons; Louis and Andrew Perry, and a sister Darlene Campbell.
Surviving family include her husband Larry Vanover of Parkers Lake whom she married on February 27, 1982, a son Christopher Perry (wife Eerin) of Parkers Lake, a special niece Nicole Ridner (husband Dustin), of Parkers Lake, brothers; Harold Campbell (wife Debbie) of Whitley City, Darrell Campbell (wife Denise) of Whitley City, Kenneth Campbell (wife Brinda) of Parkers Lake, two sisters; Doris Ridner (husband J.J.) and Barbara Vanover (husband Francis) of Parkers Lake. She has special children in her life that she considered her grandchildren; Havyn Ridner, Skylar Ridner, Roelynn Ri dner and Brantlee Strunk, as well as numerous other special nieces and nephews.
Naydean was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for a lot of people and spending time with her family. She considered it a joy to be able to help people in their time of need. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mill Creek United Methodist Church with Bro. Johnny Goodin officiating. Burial will be at the Mill Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Samuel Ridner, Brian Campbell, Shane Campbell, Dustin Ridner, Brandon Strunk, Steve Vanover and Wayne Campbell. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time for services at the church.
