Nadean Lewis

Nadean Lewis departed from this life on June 8, 2015 at her home in Marshes Siding, Kentucky. She reached the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 28 days old. She was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on November 11, 1952 daughter of the late Manual L. Crabtree and Maxine Wilson.

Nadean was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by five brothers: Donald Crabtree , Oscar LeRoy Crabtree, DeRoy Crabtree, Junior Crabtree, Leland Crabtree, one sister: Betty Flo, and one great-grandson: Coleman Cecil Ridener.

Surviving family includes her loving husband: Pete Lewis, four sons: Ricky Longmire and wife Tracey, Richard Longmire and wife Sunshine of Parkers Lake, KY, Christopher Longmire and wife Phoebe of Pine Knot, KY, Timothy Junior Crabtree, four daughters: Lindy Lou Smith and companion James Burton, Tammy Pemberton and husband Tony, of Robbins, TN, Marit Ann Lewis of Marshes Siding, KY , one brother: Michael Crabtree of Stearns, KY, one sister: Fayrene Wilson of Sidney, Ohio, twenty two grandchildren: Nicholas, Brandon, Angel, Aaron, Tyler, Nathaniel, Anthony, Isabella, Justin, Shaina, Christian, Cody, Ethan, Jorden, Dalton, Austin, Jade, Kaiden, Landon, Jonathan, Corey, and Whitney, one great grandchild Hunter and one on the way.

Funeral Services were conducted on Thursday, June 10, 2015 at 2:00 in the chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Arron Longmire and Bro. Stuart Jones officiating.  Burial followed in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
