MYRTLE IMOGENE MEADORS

Myrtle Imogene Meadors, age 77 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died February 27, 2011 at St. MaryOs of Knoxville, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Thursday March 3, 2011 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Terry West and Rev. Ray Sumner officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6 PM WEDNESDAY MARCH 2, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. She was born in Winfield, Tennessee on April 2, 1933 the daughter of the late Mack and Julie Edna (Jones) King. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Her parents, husband Hurstle Meadors, son Danny King, brothers Clarence King and Herman King, sisters Evelyn King, Laureen King, Gennis King, and Wilma Duncan, and grandson Nathan King precede her in death. Survivors include sons Jesse (Lana) King of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Michael (Bernice) Meadors of Monticello, Kentucky, Marshall (fiancŽ Mary Phillips) King of Robbins, Tennessee, and Edward Meadors of Somerset, Kentucky, daughters Katherine (Richard) Gilreath and Donna Meadors both of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brother Leonard King, and sister Glennis Hill both of Monticello, Kentucky. 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
