Mossie Ella Strunk, age 76 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.
She was a worker for the Forest Service, a member of the New Liberty United Baptist Church. Mossie loved reading, puzzles, singing, church, and family.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Strunk, Jr.; son, Roger Bryant; brothers, Cleo Bryant, Lowell Bryant, and Theodore Bryant; sister, Mary Bryant; and step daughter, Pat Lawson.
Survivors include her sons, David Allen Bryant and wife, Robin of Dalton, Georgia, and Glen Bryant of Whitley City; brother, Onel Dean Bryant; sisters, Bea Caddell of Florida, Pat Meadows, of Pine Knot, Gladys Bryant and Nannie Koger both of Georgia; step-children, Mike Strunk and wife, Mary of Cincinnati, Betty Ruth Miller and husband, Bill of Indiana, Norma Jean Boggs and husband, Dale of Virginia, Joyce Ann of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Garrett Bryant, Morgan Bryant, and Candy Steele; great grandchildren, Jaxson Steele, Aniston Steele, Joshua Jergeson, and 1 on the way; special niece, Karen Lee of Gainesville, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Sumner and Bro. Dillard Bryant officiating. Burial to follow in the New Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
