Morris Dean Meredith

Morris Dean Meredith, age 68 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Red Bird, Kentucky on June 23, 1956 the son of Hugh Mason Meredith and Julia (Brock) Meredith. Morris had worked as a welder in Iron Work and loved coon and squirrel hunting, and taking care and training dogs and mules.

His parents; a brother, Perle Meredith; and sisters, Hester Hamblin and Della Mae Meredith precede him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Deana Corder (Zac) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; ex-wife, Tammy Thompson; stepsons, Michael Callebs of Sneedville, Tennessee and Xuxuxyay Raven of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Briella Corder, Brock Meredith, Zaedryn Meredith, and Jessica Stephens; brothers, Kenny Meredith and Edward Meredith both of Somerset, Kentucky; sister, Kathy Brock of Beverly, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wish’s cremation was chosen.
