Millard Estil Cox

Millard Estil Cox, age 91, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2017, at his home in Whitley City, Kentucky.

He was born on March 1, 1925, the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Ball) Cox.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nannie M. Cox (Taylor), his son: Donald Estil Cox, brothers: Leslie and Mitchell Cox, sisters: Jessie, Maudie, Jane, Flossie and Edna.

Surviving family include his daughter, Carol Knight of Sarasota, FL., four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Estil logged timber and owned and operated a saw mill.  He enjoyed gardening, horses and being outdoors but he most enjoyed spending time with his wife of 68 years and his family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2017, in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dillard Bryant officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time for funeral service.  He will be laid to rest at the New Liberty Cemetery.
