Funeral services will be held Friday April 29, 2011 in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. William Kilby and Rev. Stanley Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Kingtown Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM THURSDAY APRIL 28, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on September 15, 1951 the son of the late Ethelbert Daniel and Effie Marie (King) Creekmore. He was a Funeral Director, McCreary County Coroner (18 years), and member of Second Otter Creek United Baptist Church, McCreary County Rescue Squad, Kiwanis, Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874, Laurel Heights Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #288, Shriner, Baseball & Basketball Umpire, Kentucky Colonel (1967), Notary Public (1968), Adanta Regional Board, Lake Cumberland Health Department Regional Board, Pine Knot Fire Department (1968-2006), 911 Board, McCreary County Fair Board, and secretary of McCreary County Republican Party. His parents and son Albert Archie Creekmore precede him in death. Survivors include sons Milford Burl Creekmore II and wife Tina of Strunk, Kentucky, and Ethelbert Burl Creekmore of Pine Knot, Kentucky, daughters Rebecca Ann Jones and husband Brent of Stearns, Kentucky, and Opal Marie New and husband Brandon of Pine Knot, Kentucky. Mother of his children Lola Creekmore Nash, grandchildren Kyle Strunk and wife Amber, Brittany Ann Jones, Brooklyn Ann Jones, Cameron Eric Creekmore, Devon L. Burl Creekmore, Logan Randall Creekmore, Bryson Tanner Creekmore, Bronica Marie Jones, Bailey Taylor Jones, and Briley Jaylen Creekmore, and Tyler Blake Ball, great grandchild Jackson Strunk and special friend Ronnie Johnson also survive. Masonic Services provided by Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874 and Star Service provided by Laurel Heights O.E.S. Chapter #288. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
