Michael Hurd, age 37 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died April 7, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 1pm in the Mill Creek Methodist Church with Bro. Dow Goodin and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial was in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on September 16, 1975 the son of William Paul and Janie Lohoma (Goodin) Hurd. He sawed logs in a saw mill and was a member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, William Paul and Janie Hurd; former wife, Beverly Hurd; brothers, Bobby Hurd, Tony William Hurd, Nathan Paul Hurd, and Jospeh Hurd; and sister, Rosetta Sims all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Two special children, Riley Barnett and Natasha Goodin also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
