Merandy Wilson

Merandy Wilson, age 86 years, of Frankfort, Kentucky died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort.

She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on May 24, 1934 the daughter of Dallas and Loretta Perry. Merandy had worked for the State of Kentucky as a Custodian, enjoyed watching college sports, and loved her grandchildren and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, of 49 ½ years, Rufus Wilson.

Survivors include her son, Darryl Wilson and wife, Stephanie of Barbourville, Kentucky; daughter, Sheila Royster of Frankfort; numerous brothers, grandchildren, Chris Royster, Andrew Royster, Tiffany Johnson, and Travis Wilson(Jenna); and great grandchild, Kaylie Johnson.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 11am in the Higginbotham Cemetery with Rev. Tom Patterson officiating.
