Melton Estes Perry

Melton Estes Perry, 71 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died suddenly on May 13, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on February 26, 1947 the son of the late Frank and Ola Bryant Perry.  He worked as a Logger and Truck Driver. Melton enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Sandhill Baptist Church.

His parents; his brothers, Roscoe, Clarence and Lester Perry, sisters, Irene Brooks and Vicky Stephens precede him in death.

Survivors include his son: Kevin Perry and wife Marka of Whitley City, Kentucky, daughter: Tammy Renae Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sisters: Ethel Sargent of Cleves, Ohio, and Della Loudermillk of Pine Knot, Kentucky, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes and Bro. Clay Cook officiating on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm, with burial to follow at the Bryant Cemetery in Whitley City.  Family will receive friends after 11:00 am Wednesday at the Funeral Home. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
